The Royal Marines are elite Commandos - a highly trained, specialised force capable of operating anywhere in the world – on land, from the sea or from the air.
We stand ready to deploy at a moment’s notice in support of UK military operations, or to carry out peacekeeping duties, provide disaster relief and help police the seas.
We can carry out all these roles because we are a team of highly trained professionals. And if you have what it takes, you could be a part of that team.  NEXT I WILL INTRODUCE YOU TO THE 32 WEEK TRAINING COARSE, THIS IS THE MOST GRUELING LONGEST AND HARDEST BASIC MILITARY TRAINING IN THE WORLD. ONCE TRAINING IS COMPLETE A ROYAL MARINE IS FIT TO SERVE IN OPERATIONS ANYWERE IN THE WORLD.MOST FAIL THE APPLICATION PROCESS BEFORE THE PRMC (POTENTIAL ROYAL MARINE COARSE) TAKES PLACE, IN FACT ONLY 1 IN 16 PEOPLE WHO APPLY MAKE IT THROUGH THE INTERVIEW,MEDICAL ETC,AND 25 OUT OF 60 PASS THE PRMC. SO AS YOU CAN SEE MAKING IT INTO ROYAL TRAINING IS A ACHIEVEMENT ITSELF.DURING TRAINING ONLY ON AVERAGE OF 35%OF YOUR TROOP WILL PASS OUT AND GO ON TO SERVE WITH THE BEST.
